Can you change names while being limited?
 

My account with a @@@@ name(all other info is legit) is limited, no steps offered.
I want to call them up, but with a extremely obvious ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name on the account, its not gonna happen. I want to change the name of account, and it seems that its possible since I can go to the profile and change the name, but I am confused by this text

To process your name change request, you need to fax in additional information. Please provide a current photo identification and one of the other following documents:

A copy of a valid photo identification showing your new name.
Acceptable forms of photo identification are a driver's license, passport, or any other state or government issued photo identification.
A copy of a recent utility bill showing your new name and address exactly as they appear on your PayPal account.
A copy of a recent bank statement for the bank account listed on your PayPal account (if applicable).
A copy of a recent credit card statement for the credit card listed on your PayPal account (if applicable).

So I have to provide a scan of my photo id and a utility bill? Or a photo id and anything else on the list? I'm confused.

Like the text say, you need to fax in documents proving that the name you are changing to is legitimatly yours.

To be honest, it's better for you just to move along and go stealth again.

But couldn't you just upload them?
Also, do you have to send the Photo Id and the Utility bill? Or can you do Photo ID and credit card statement, etc.

You can send in the photo id and cc statement but this statement is worrisome:

A copy of a valid photo identification showing your new name.

I think (knowing pa yp al's risk analysis model), your limitation lifting will be denied but I hope you prove me wrong. All the best.
