Bit of advice
 

I have a new stealth account its all running well few months old

I have just cranked it up a notch last 2 weeks which has put me just short of the £1900

i have £450 standing in account i also got some doc's from some guy who may hang out somewhere here

i am a little nervous about handing them in

i am also nervous about withdrawing the funds as the Items are on direct dispatch from China so customers havent got it yet and my actual sales are only 5 feedbacks so far

so i am thinking if i withdraw they might keep it pending for quite a while

i have paid my ebay fee's up to date with paypal now im toying with the idea of buying a laptop with my paypal balance just in case the ID gets blown out of the water

Is this a good idea?

what should i do first?

withdraw, hand in docs or buy a laptop with balance


also if i chose to buy what name and address would you recommend for paypal for delivery to my home

I would say if you haven't been asked for docs don't submit them until you have no alternative. Has the account been verified? There is always the chance you will not be asked for docs.

Have you made any withdrawals from the account yet? If so I would carry on withdrawing at the same amount as you have already drawn down.

The fact that you are so close to the 1900 without having had a request is a good sign that the account is running well

When you alter the delivery address be careful that you do not use a postcode that doesn't exist - it's easily done.

When ordering goods it is likely to be a courier firm. I would contact the buyer beforehand and ask them if they would deliver the item straight to your mum/brother/girlfriend/boyfriend etc. That way you can pay as normal and deal with the seller outside of Paypal. You may need to try a couple before you find one but it will be worth it.

Thanks for the reply and to answer yes i have been asked for docs but my account has no restrictions other than it cant be closed

i have 137 days to get ID apparantly then my account will be closed

i have made around 3 withdrawls all for around £300 they have all completed although the last was pending for a while


My dilemma is if i try to withdraw they make keep it pending for a while as customers wont get them until next week

(will paypal release the funds or keep it pending for 21 days)

on the paypal part the buying the laptop was a plan to use paypal to spend my cash not bypass paypa rather than withdraw it because once it is withdrawn it goes pending (which my last one was for 4 days)

i hope i explained it better this time im just not sure how to go about it

and if i hand in docs they may find fault and close account at this point leaving me a 180 day cash fall

All of that scenario is possible. If you have 137 days left just let the account sit there until all deliveries have been made and there are no conflicts then go to work on the balance

i did make 1 fatal mistake tonight though i forgot to change my ip back when i had been logged on to another ebay account (i changed user account )

does that mean im screwed ??

it wasnt a banned account though it was a new one i have just put my first item on today to sell ( i have aged it a month or 2 and bought a few things though)

Get off the computer for a few days - you shouldn't be allowed out without a minder!!!!

Sit down for a few days and see what develops
