Pending Balance
 

What's the most you've had in a PP pending balance? I have about 300 and I'm wondering if I should back off and wait for some releases, or keep packing it in.....

'Pending balance' is only part of my criteria for 'touching' an account.

Bear in mind, I tend to be conservative and am known to wear a tin foil hat :spy:

'Packing it in' worries me. Can you risk being caught with all your moola living with paypal for an extended vacation :eek:

So back to my criteria:

What is still outstanding in funds receivable
Have I checked the 'buyers' carefully. (eg, nice feedback, account age etc. country of delivery).
What day of the week is it to consider a transfer? (Never thurs/fri because of the weekend)
How much balance can I leave to keep paypal happy...
So I have a formula like that.
With $300 already in, I'd be thinking of removing at least 2/3rds.

I work like that. A word of caution though . 'packing it in' might raise flags :peace:

what do you mean "packing it in"? withdraw to bank or buy more products?

I just withdrew some money on thursday.. came in today ... no worries.. why do you say "because of the weekend"? because of extra days might have to wait?

wait you withdraw money thursday and it came in today friday? I thought you had to wait 3-4 business day to receive funds from paypal to bank?

I mean like, should I keep selling, which will make the pending balance even higher, or wait until some of the withheld funds are released.

I do a lot of international shipping, so it usually takes a while before I get my feedback (which I usually always do).

the funds usually do arrive, I agree.

But I try to avoid a late week transfer in case of glitches. ever needed to talk to paypal at 02:30am on a sunday morning?
