How to reduce risk of paypal account limited

1- Never use a shared IP VPN or public proxy.
2- If you have more than one account, do not login to both with the same IP.
3- If paypal is not available in your country use secure VPN with dedicated IP.
4- Clear your browser's cookies every time you log out.
5- Do not open, verify a new account and receive a big money right after verification.
6- Split incoming payments larger than $600.
7- Do not send all money in your account after receiving funds.
8- Do not login to your account from multiple IP ranges...
9- Do not modify your account information too much.
10- Do not add/remove CC to your account too much.
11- When you create a new paypal account, start with smaller amounts
Then increase your amounts some days later... (Step)
12- If your vpn connection is so slow, you are in risk.

Thanks for the advice, although it would seem clearing cookies might risk suspicions from paypal for having fresh cookies every time you log in. Other than that, seems like good advice. Also once you reach a certain amount you might bound to be limited. I'd say once you reach over a few thousand total received.

I would not clear my cookies as this often raises flags as ebay likes to see search history.

Also logging in from multiple Ip is pretty common as mine changes every time and this is for multiple accounts. This is where keeping cookies on that user account comes in handy.

Also, A big step often overlooked is email beacons....

Otherwise solid advice...

Cookies are important for those of us who are constantly logging in from multiple IP addresses.

I still think trying to constantly hide your computer is just asking for limitations every time.

GrannyT 07-03-2011 02:53 AM

I use seperate user accounts with an XL spreadsheet. I leave all cookies in place

I used to use seperate machines:D

Nice list, hopefully it will help new members in some way. Though most are obvious and some very similar in principle, I really like it as lists like this are compact and easy to follow :)

I would like to add, reusing old info on your account, such as bank accounts and credit cards. Also, adding funds from these sources could be a problem.

munrznnw 07-06-2011 12:45 PM

Thanks, most of the items on the list are a sure thing!

Haha.

@seamusmct:

Microsoft Excel from Microsoft Office. It's a spreadsheet.

seamusmct 07-07-2011 03:22 AM

yea i know that ,but what does that do for having more than one ebay/paypal account

GrannyT 07-07-2011 03:27 PM

I keep a log of every IP address I use. I can get through 20 a day when it's busy

Doesn't it become very monotonous and boring to collect all that information?
I bet you chance IP for different stealth accounts but wouldn't that mean you access a particular account with many different IP over the week/month? Wouldn't that raise flags that you are using so many IP to access a single account?

Gman91189 07-08-2011 09:03 AM

All you need is new accounts on your PC smart guys, no need to clear cookies its NOT GOOD, and i figured if you taking cash out right after verifying a new bank accnt could be a prob.. thanx for confirming that..
and yea XL works great you could easily go through 20 accnts per day easily i do 15/day cause i still have a real job:mad2:

I am sure that it does but hey, if GTran has $ coming in, who is to question how she operates =)

Imakemoney 07-08-2011 10:01 AM

Im strong believer ALWAYS in uploading tracking information to paypal - especially if selling in more risky categories.

With regards cookies yeah its better to leave them in place if your using seperate windows user accounts for ebay of your ebay/paypal accounts.

I have a question- all ready to open my new paypal account- I have a new cc and checking account- the credit card is in a false name address etc. but obviously the checking is in my name... should I use the fictitious name or real name? As I recall, I used my fictitious name, etc. 1st time and got caught when I requested a debit card- lasted 4 months. Last month I opened another account with real name and got caught within 2 weeks. Idk if I got caught with cookies cuz I never deleted or the IP address- never changed that either. Advise please!!

^ Get the stealth guide or read the forums more. Of course IP and other eBay tracking methods willl link accounts. Though it could be a number of different factors on why you got suspended. Do the research.

Yeah, Get the book as the list you posted is basically a quick list of what is in the book. Except the book is in much more depth.

I also have a question.
what about your paypal balance? do you keep it around $200? withdrawing every few weeks? And also does the paypal account become limited once you reach $1000 balance?

Seeing this on a lot of posts today - where is this idea coming from?
