PayPal funds temporary hold, buyer's PP limited
 
Hi there

Yesterday I was listing something for sale and then one buyer came and bid on my products using BIN and pay via PP straight away.

Then after 4 hours, I got notification via PP that the funds was temporary held and I had 4 option :

Please provide some additional information about this transaction.

I have not shipped the item yet.

I shipped the item(s) and can provide tracking information.

The buyer has already been refunded and I can provide proof of the previous refund.

None of these options apply to me.

PayPal will review the information and determine whether the claim can be closed.


And then after some time, the buyer email me asking me when can send the products to him?

Should I just proceeding by sending out item and choose option 2 or just refund him?

Is his pa yp al verified? Address confirmed? Is he international?

That info is vital. Is the cost of tracking super expensive? Also key.

What category of product?

I just contacted PayPal and they told me the buyer account was limited, he is in AUS as well with "0" feedback. I sent him order cancellation as no point sending item if I can not access the funds, I am not even sure if I choose option 2 and send him the order, I will eventually get my payment from PP.

Wise decision IMO - Now get your FVF back by emailing customer services and explaining the situation to them (Be polite and nice though LOL):pop2:
