CCNOW Monthly Fee

I'm tired of being limited by GAYPAL.

I'm just selling stuff around the house, not a big reseller.

I don't have huge inventory of stuff.

Is there any merchant accounts that don't charges monthly fees, and take paypal. I don't want to wait 45 days for money either.

CCNOW charges $10 a month if you don't go over $100 in sales. Do you have to cancel with them to stop the monthly fees?

Google checkout seems the only half decent thing out there but that's banned by egay.

I used to sell using check, money order, or cashier's check. Worked just fine, not much difference in sales when I switched to credit cards. Especially for closet items.

But my friend, if you are making less than $100 a month you are doing something wrong, it's not paygay or egay, if you are that low it's yougay.

In a month I sold a laptop for parts and couple of other things, it came out to $600, plus shipping and handling, so I had a $1000 easily. That was before I learned to sell VERO!

i don't think he ever said he wanted to be a big seller such as yourself.

Thats not appropriate

Death-Try google you will save on fees if making that amount. Could you verify docs to get a different merchant account integrated with your ebay account?

That's interesting I didn't know that. I suppose you can just give them a gift card with virtually no money on it. I assume that's how they charge you. But how do you keep the account in good standing?

I don't have a steady supply of things to sell to get $100 per month in sales.

Once in awhile I get my hands on the hot nintendo gaming system and sell some of those, then they limit me. I had more success selling these locally on craigslist then e bay.

E bay people buy anything for way more then it's worth, but they all want to use paypal which loves to limit new sellers.

Any alteratives for merchant account without the monthly fees that can accept paypal?

Unless I find a partner in finding large supply of stuff to sell, I can't really use CCNOW.

How about using Google and creating own invoices for ebay.

You're not getting a true merchant account. Alot of real ones don't even charge you a monthly fee!

Ccnow has been a great alternative for me and since using it ive only had a couple people say they couldn't pay with Ccnow...from overseas, they didn't say they wouldn't but they couldn't...before it was nearly impossible for me to get anyone to use an alternative...they refused and said they had to pay by Paypal...blah blah blah...

Wait...I think ppl may be confused about the CCnow monthly fee. They do not bill u for the month unless you actually sell something.

For example: If you sell over $100, you get charged only the transaction fees on what you processed.

If you sell under $100, you get charged $10 monthly fee + transaction fees.

If you sell nothing, they charge you nothing for the month. I've had it for 3 months now. I got charged the first month for just transaction fees since I processed over $100. After that, I never used it because I have an actual merchant account and they've never billed me $10 monthly either.
