Anyone Experiencing "technical difficulties adding bank accounts to pp"
 
Hey guys,
trying to add a new bank account on my paypal to withdraw some $$$$ :amen:
but this is the message im getting

"We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and are unable to process your submitted bank information. Please make another attempt at a later time."

any tips guys :)

Yeah I got that on a few different ones today, just kept using different links and kept re-adding them until they went through after a few tries.

That's one them, then there's get verified, then another add bank link to increase your sending limits, you just gotta keep playing around with it till it goes through.

i am having the same problem, over and over (same account_ tried your suggestions, no good, any other options ?

yeah, been happening since the thread started in July 2011 in the USA too.

UK paypal or elsewhere?

What bank and what type of account involved?

uk business, verified,

tried to add metro and santander, santander already added as well.

I have called them, they said i need to pass a check which i didnt , so they wouldnt add it manually.

It could be because i changed my details, because to begin with when trying to add the card it said on the screen they would call me, but the number was not in use, so i had to add a new one and update my profile, since then i just get the error message

no, there is nothing to do with the number anymore. At first when i went to add a card it asked to verify it was me by calling the number on file. That number I didnt have access to anymore, so I changed it on my profile. I went back to add the card, however on this occasion it did not ask me to verify the account , it just gave me the error message, and has done ever since everytime I try to add the card. I did call up, they said they would do it manually , however in doing so I had to pass a credit check, this I failed, and so I am back where I started.

this has been going on for months for both platforms.

Did you notice you bumped an old thread from the year 2011? More recent threads in the UK paypal forum that would have given you better info.

Many of us trying to add bank accounts to UK paypal need to phone in to get the bank account added manually.

There is also another issue and I think you should be aware of that. If the original phone number for the account is no longer available, you are not going to be able to do a thing unless you talk to paypal.
I am having glitches with long standing paypals where I can only make payments via an invoice & not via a shopping cart.

I did speak with them, they tried to credit reference me, however everything is woot woot , so didnt pass the check. They caught me on the hop , I just made up some lame arse excuse and said id call them back
