Unauthorized Chargeback
 

So basically I sold a service to a buyer but you know how corrupt people are and he decided to charge back and unauthorized.. I made him attach a note to the gift and watched him gift it on teamviewer to avoid this bull****..

Is there any way to win an unauthorized chargeback?

Not much hope with pa yp al - if you have your own payment processor, then you have a better shot but it's so easy for pp to say screw you and we are going to take 10$ more from you.

PayPal will just refer to their T&C.

Never accept PP for services, or anything that isn't shipped with tracking.

But even that can't stop an unauthorized chargeback. That crap is mitigated by the credit card company of the buyer and it's difficult for any company to fight off MC or Visa or Amex unless the transaction is REALLY worth it...

Edit: Think about it - let's say you sell something for $500 - pp is a multimillion if not billion dollar company - which is the easier step? to keep pushing against a cc company also worth multimillions? or to say to the seller who NEEDS (figuratively speaking) pp to survive screw you (like we screw others) AND we make $10 off of you? Pure deceptive logic terrible as it may seem.

Contact paypal and send all emails and conversations you're had. They can track and verify it was authorized. I had a situation where someone tried to scam me and i charged it back and paypal said it was authorized, I had printed all information sent it over and they fixed it. Could help atleast.
