Does TeraPeak share information with Paypal?
 

Hello all, I've decided to try out terapeak.

What if I access the terapeak account (no eBay account attached to it) on an IP that belongs to a Paypal account that did not pay for the terapeak subscription?
Do you know what I mean? :juggle:

I don't want to get linked.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Well, here is how I would look at it:,,,,Ebay and Terapeak are in bed together so to speak,,,We ALL KNOW about Ebay and Paypals extremely close Reltionship so I would bet that it is Pretty safe to assume that paypal and Terapeak have a Pretty good Rapport with each other

Yes I see what you're saying, but do you think they are in such good relations that Terapeak tracks the IPs of the users that log on and see if their IPs match with the IP that Paypal has on file for the Paypal account that payed for the subscription?

I use terapeak all the time and if they share the ip I would have already been toast.
Not to say they wont ever or do it occasionally but as much as I use it and research I just do not see it happening at this time.

Thanks for your reply - So you say you hop on terapeak regardless of which windows user account or IP you are on? (just clarifying)

There would be no reason to have to do that? Unless you are in trouble for some big crime maybe but to just see if IP's match to kick you off. Thats not something that they probably care much about.

To be safe just change your IP like you normally do if it makes you worry. I would not bother worrying about it though.

Although most people seem to think so. Ebay and paypal are not just sitting there with a "Big Red Suspension Button" eagerly waiting to hit it on the smallest little sign of your presence.

I never click on a sale or anything outside of terapeak.

I do not go to ebay or anywhere else.

I just look at the information and use it and it works like a charm.

You must be careful not to click on links etc.

I never need to as the info I need is right in front of you.

I have never been linked in any manner since I started using terapeak a long time ago.

Then again someone will make a mistake and click on the ebay links and get linked so use at your own risk.

I am just wondering if they share the email you use? I am signed up with a banned email.

I would not do that UB.

I would cancel it and start over in this case.

I use an email account that is NOT associated with eb or pp at all for terapeak.
