Purchased Item using Paypal...
 

Just used new pp account on Ebay (⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, address, email on both accounts) and have purchased something on Ebay using this pp account.

What do I do about shipping address to get my item? The way I see it I can either
a - email seller this item is a gift & please use the following shipping address, etc. etc.
OR
b - can I add my real name & address to this pp account but not use it as primary and when purchasing use my real info?

Keep in mind, real name/address is suspende on Ebay.

The gift-trick should work.

Yeah like Modee said they usually want a confirmed address, but at this point you need to do "a" email the seller ASAP and get him to ship to your real address...don't do question "b" they will link you...

And for next time, it's probably best to create a separate Buyers eBay account. Just an account for buying. You can use your real address, just change a letter or add st. or dr. or whatever to make it a little different. Since it's a buying account, eBay won't care as much. And it only takes a few minutes to create.

OR--The Alternative--take a new gift card...
Register it with the ADDRESS u want shipped-
--then add it to paypal, then it will be listed as a confirmed addy..
(Must be diff address than youve ever used--i.e. neighbors, friends, etc..BUT it will be confirmed..

I am confused about this. If it is okay to create an Eb account (for buying purposes only) using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name but real address slightly altered then why isn't it safe to add real address also slightly altered to a PP account and simply switch to that address when purchasing from EB?

Still perplexed...what is the difference if I create a new EB account strictly for purchases (which has to have new pp, bank & email accounts) with real address slightly changed and the difference of adding my real address slightly changed to an existing pp account (not linked to any suspensions)?

Can't one address be a work address & one a home address? Don't get it? Anyone?
