Paypal is weird
 

I've been conducting business online since 2002. Of course, my ebay/paypal accounts had my valid/legit information, there was nothing stealth about things. I made pretty good money back then. I also made a few costly mistakes. I was young and didn't really pay attention to the consequences.

To make a long story short, my ebay/paypal accounts were "banned" for life with all my legit information attached to those accounts.

Last week, I logged into an old paypal account that I created using my middle name. It was limited. I satisfied all the requirements for getting reinstated except for adding my ssn. Previously, I couldn't add my social because it was attached to another account. However, last week I was able to attach my social again. I don't know what happened but I was able to add it.

I called paypal last night and the guy said he just put it into review and I'll hear something within 48 hours. Hopefully this account gets restored. Also, my old ebay account, I was banned for "shill bidding" almost 10 years ago....I owed outstanding fees....I paid the fee last year. I was still able to log into the account and I just saw a message stating that they would reinstate me once I fax them a utility bill and photo id....

This may not sound like much but it's big for me. I've tried several times to get reinstated in the past but they wouldn't even entertain having me back...but now something has changed...It's a little odd that paypal accepted my ssn that was attached to another account...it's weird that after all these years ebay is considering me again....

I heard of this before and after you send documents they keep them on file and make sure you never get another account with information they probably dont have on file yet. I would be careful. I believe I read it here so a good search you might find it.

At this point, I don't mind them having the info. They had it before. I've been banned for almost 10 years....it's worth a try in my opinion.

Please let us know because it's been about 5-6 years for me, same thing, was in college, had a lot of shotty buyers who tried to return items but then I didn't accept returns, didn't give me any warning just banned me.

it didnt work out. paypal didn't give me my account.

It rarely does. Now they have more info on you. The only way is to go stealth..:pop2:

Why are you so bent on using REAL info? Let those accounts go, they are really worthless. Have you Read the stealth guide?

People who visit this forum are ones who have been restricted/suspended or are in danger of being suspended. By the time they visit this site, it is usually too late to salvage accounts with "real" information. Who are you referring to? I have the stealth guide and have read it several times. Maybe you need the guide :bounce:

You feed the beast intel and they will cut your hands and feet off. Go stealth because it's the only way you will ever see any real results even if it's for a short run.
