Does name and address have to match for direct deposit?
 

Hello,
I have a new stealth account and recently I got a transaction go through, meaning a sale. What I am wondering is that if I do verify my bank account, which has a completely different name and address than on my paypal, will I be able to transfer without a problem, I have a credit union which seems to be pretty lenient, before I try this, I would appericate some input on this.

i'm by far no expert here, but i have read a butt-load of this forum and this is what i know on your question...
PayPal (stealth account) cannot see your name and address (real info) on your bank account,...that is if you never send funds from the bank account to fund paypal, so that is not a good thing to do.
on this issue of paypal sending funds to your bank account where names are not matching, this all depends on your bank and whether or not they will accept the transfer with the name descrepancy. you might do a "search" in the search area of this forum to see if there have ever been any previous post with info on your financial institution or call and ask them (bank) to see if they have problems with this..

Jack is correct but be very careful of using a credit union.

Why? Because they are a great source of credit for many things. If you start sending deposits into your account and they see the odd names they might shut it down. If your credit is good and you can get another bank account that allows the odd names I would go that route and not use the credit union you have.

A good credit union is not worth tossing away or even taking the chance.
