paypal bank account question

If i was to verified my paypal account with a bank account and couple month later shut the account at my local bank.. will my paypal still be verified or do they check it the account is still active every so often?

If paypal has no need to touch that bank a/c, then should be no problem.
Are you going to delete that account and add another?

no i was gonna close the bank account at my local bank and leave the info on paypal.. would it still leave me verified or will paypal know that i closed it at my local bank??

They won't know unless you try to use it somehow like withdraw or send money with it.
