Cannot add BOA to PayPal account
 

I ws trying to verify my paypal with bank of america checking account (I just open online). PayPal posted an error message "Sorry! That bank cannot link to any more paypal. Please change to different band card". Anyone experienced this before?

'Brand card' and checking account are different.

Yes, some cards do not work. The cards will be the problem, not the bank account.

Yeah, definitely something left out. I just did this last Friday with no problems so I know the bank isnt the issue.

I also use BOA and have not had any trouble linking my BOA accounts to two new P accounts.

No issues with BOA linked to my US Paypal accounts. Although a better bank in my opinion is H.S.B.C. Then if you set up with H.S.B.C. Premier, you can set up accounts in various countries (in my case USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand) with a simple hassle free letter of introduction from your account manager and transfer funds for FREE between those accounts. No wire transfer fees, and no commission % to pay to Paypal (and whatever other services you are using).

You did not re-use a bank card did you?

Sounds like you re-used it from a different account.

same thing happend with me, i also use BOA and it's not linked to any other account.

i added all the right info routing # and all that, i got the same error.
