Should I instantly confirm my bank account or do the two small deposits?

you have to confirm the 2 small deposits... that is how you confirm your bank account :)

Either option is fine. Some people don't feel safe giving pp their login info, but it has been said to be safe.

why would he need to give paypal his login info?? :doh::doh:

If he clicks 'confirm bank account' it will ask for the 2 small deposits :suspicious:

:doh: :doh: For US pp, you can choose to confirm your bank account instantly by providing pp with your bank login info OR you can wait 2-3 business days for the two deposits...

It's done by a third party not pp.. Some people don't feel comfortable, that's fine. But many people, including myself, have used it several times with no problems.

Bank account should have been made using your real ID.

You can use either option to verify your paypal account.

US users are lucky with these options :pop2:

If you give them the info for instant make sure you go back after you are done and change your password etc.

Anyhow - both ways work - I have done both. My honest opinion is that since you are BUILDING your account and time lasting = gold, you can manage well with 2 microdeposits - would be better looking from Paypal point of view.

Paypal auto confirm bank is just that. They don't store that information nor do they have access to it. I confirmed dozens of bank accounts using auto confirm and that was never an issue.

kind of a dead thread but is anyone still doing the instant confirm option for bank accounts and not getting limited right away like others are dealing with?

the 2 deposits, 1 withdrawal that paypal is freaking me out now since it seems they are shutting accounts down left and right linking real to stealth info
