21 Day Hold Even After Cleared!?
 

Okay, I've been selling for 2 months now and my paypal had the 21 day hold. after 2 months of selling they cleared the hold and I can withdraw payments whenever I wanted. Now It says I have another 21 day hold as I establish myself as a seller? What goes on here!?

Something must have drew a flag. After the 35 days, you are usually good to go. Did you list higher priced items? More frequent auctions? Did you ship anything too late?

I just read that paypal holds the payments up to 21 days.
This hold applies to new sellers who have a seller account under 90 days,
So the hold will only generally be removed after 90 days from your first sale you made on ebay.

I am selling 0.01 auctions without problem over 60 days and I got same hit as well 21 days.So its not about your price of items.

I've got a 6 month old account, and for the first 4 months the account had 21 day holds on most transactions. It stopped for around 3 weeks, but then I got an email saying I'd get the holds on all my daily eBay sales again! Still have them now.

I think it's to do with what I sell as they're expensive electronics. It's a pain in the arse I tell you, especially as my DSRs are all 5s.

This is done by someone in paypal overseeing your account. They can put this 21 day holds anytime they think they should. You just have to show them that you are shipping all your items fast, not selling large volume, and handle any disputes QUICKLY. All that helps to get the 21 days holds removed but does not protect you from it in the future.

I received my 1st PayPal 21 day hold the other day. it was for 65.00 i shipped the item very fast and saw that the buyer has sent me + feedback on eBay this morning.

However my PayPal payment of 65.00 is still being held? i thought once they see the item has been left + feedback they auto release payment??... can someone give me some incite i would really appreciate it alot.

some times it takes 24 hour after + fb till the payment is realised.

They changed that policy of feedback. Now the fastest you can get your funds is 3 days AFTER the item was delivered, regardless of feedback. And that is with tracking. Make sure you put tracking on all of your auctions.

If you dont have tracking, then its the full 21 days :/

my holds weren't even released after the items shown delivered on usps tracking and even the buyer left a +... guess i'll have to wait for the 21 days to come. too bad, they are holding like $1k (multiple transactions)

I have a three year old account with 50 feedback 100% with over 20 dsr rating all near 5.0 and they put a 21 day hold on my account recently....

On my other new account they are holding my money even when buyer gave me positive feedback... sucks

e bay become really unfair nowadays I have same problem and looks like randomlny holds

just keep steady sales. if sales spike a hug amount or something looks very different on the account, they will just limit the account. they do not care but they do notice changes.

U added Tracking??? If didn;t add tracking u must wait..
If added tracking will never meet poblem that.

I've also noticed that some of my sales that I've added tracking and received feedback for are taking unusually long to clear their holds. It's somewhat possible, that it is related to inconsistent $ passing through the accounts, but the holds do seem to be taking longer overall than before.

i've added trackings, items show delivered but holds were only released after the original 21 days... suxx

This is why I don't waste money on tracking/delivery confirmation. The only time I have holds is in the beginning. And I'm only selling cheap stuff to build feedback at that point anyway.

This 21 hold limit is very frustrating!

Can anyone say with surety if this will be lifted after establishing a good seller history for about 90 days. Or do we have to call Paypal and talk to them?
