Ebay store with different name paypal account
 

Hi all - I have had a US Ebay.com store for years which I have operated from Thailand without problems until recently.

Been using US Paypal also for years until recently I closed it on Paypal's advice and opened an Australian Paypal account [I'm an Aussie] which is now limited soon as I breached the $1,000 limit - Buddha knows why I'm still trying to figure that one out.

My question is - can I use my Thai wife's verified Thai business Paypal account with my US Ebay.com store to take payments on auction sales?

Or would it all hit the fan?

Probably not a very good idea.

Ok - it can't be because the paypal account is in a different country obviously - so it's the different name on the paypal account or the fact that it is in Thailand ??
