Paypal started to put my fund on hold for 21 days ???
 

Received an email from Paypal today, saying they will hold my fund for 21 days for every transaction. And I can access my fund after buyer leave positive feedback or they confirm the delivery of the item.
There's nothing wrong with the eBay account though. I can still list and sell. But when buyers bought my stuff, the fund was put on hold.
Should I continue shipping to the buyer? Is this a sign of "Near-suspension"?

Anyone has experience with this, please help! Thanks!

It seems apparent that you did not search the forum since this topic is very hot not.

1. You must continue shipping +/- with tracking
2. NOT a sign of `near-suspension`
3. Get busy.

this is very common just ship quickly and usually after 30 days they stop holding funds

if the account is less than 90 days old you will get this until you establish a good selling history (feedback). just ship with tracking, put the tracking on paypal, and the funds will be released shortly after delivery. paypal says 3 days after delivery, but it has been faster for me.

rsot what do you mean by shipping plus and shipping minus tracking? With or without tracking, that surely can't be, surely they should all be tracked, no?

When you can add tracking, you should - for me, I sent out sub $20 items all the time without tracking - I lose too much by using tracking but that's my m.o.

Account Funds Hold
 

I started my ebay account in october 2011. Paypal AND Ebay both holding funds until about 72 hours after item sold is received by buyer. After about 60 days PAYPAL sent me an email saying that my funds were no longer going to be held.That very same day 2 buyers paid me and funds were not available. I called Paypal and they said that they had lifted the hold on my funds but that EBAY had criteria that had not yet been met and Paypal suggested I call them.

I did and Ebay said they will continue to hold funds (for up to 21 days if you dont supply tracking # and/or buy/print postage online from Paypal account) for about 72 after buyer recieves item.
As for how long this will last? I was told that on January26 2012, my account will be reviewed and if I have sold 25 items and maintained a "Good Seller Rating" (its all about those 5 stars) that they (Ebay) should stop holding my funds. We shall see.
BTW, I requested they increase my monthly limit of 10 items to sell and when I answered the "trick" birthday question I was told that I could not have my limit increased. I tried this again and found out that they have a different DAY for my birthday (20th not 26th obvious typo) and wonder if that has something to do with the limit not being raised.

Was told by one rep it would be raised to 50 items then after a 5 min HOLD h came back online, apologized that in fact he could not increase my limit due to the fact that "I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH INFO TO VERIFY" then I got email about how to fax ID, etc.... That worries me so I'm waiting until I can detremine whats really going on. Thanks for letting me share.:> robbiejr
