What happens if I close an account with dispute on?
 

I have a dispute on right now on my account...
After making a payment for a thing that I bought for 118 Dlls,sent to someone on denmark ...paypal limited my account and after calling again one day later,they reactivated my account
The things is that I'm starting to get very nervious about the situation,and I'm afraid to call them again because they may ask for info like my SSN or else
So,as I have set my account with instant transfer from my debit card,the money has not been yet taken from my bank account because of the hold and I can tell the seller to send me an invoice to a friend's account.

The question is,what happens if I just close the account? Will they make a biiiiig deal of it? Like investigations and stuff,or nothing happens?
Or how much I need to wait for the money to be reversed by itself? :pout:

I don't think you can close an account with a dispute on period.

you will not be able to close the account with an open dispute on it. Also do not have an invoice sent to your friends account because it will link the accounts. Unless you contact the seller outside of ebay or paypal. just forget about the account and start fresh.

call your bank and tell them you lost your debit card and they will issue you a knew one with new numbers. this way when you make a new account the card will not link you to this account.

Haha even if you close it you can get a dispute later on and it will be opened back up. Thats the sad part about doing business with paypal. Paypal doesn't want to lose one bit. They already lose tons.

Sorry to bump on this, but I have some limited accounts with transaction under review any idea when they'll finish that process

I have a stealth Ebay account and paypal account (27-store feedback not many, also 1 negative). buyer opened a dispute. Previously, he wrote to me messages on this matter to Ebay box before opened dispute so out of fear I close my paypal account (My original Linked paypal account is suspended but Ebay account is not, so I add some time ago new paypal account and works ok. without add bank account only credit card (virtual CC). I sell a few things and I send money from my paypal account to another paypal account (this paypal account have add bank account so I can withdraw this money---this paypal account is not linked to any Ebay account is clean (both paypal account have false details,addres,name itd ... only bank account is real.


My question.

what happens if do not give money to the buyer?

This change something if I close the second account paypal with bank account?

item was sent and delivered. but the buyer is unhappy and wants to return this and full refund.

Any sugestions ?
