Not getting "Payment Received" emails anymore
 

After Ebay items get sold, I don't get any mails from Paypal anymore that I received payment.


Didn't change any settings..

me neither first started yesterday

I had this problem for around 2 hours yesterday afternoon but it is now okay (sorted itself).

Even thought you may not have changed your settings (Notification Preferances) Check them anyway in BOTH Paypal and the linked Ebay account,,Stranger things have happened

Must be one of their new games for catching bait -

But on a serious note - Its probably just a temporary error.

Possible,,,,with E-mail Notification off,,,a Person with multiple stealth accounts would need to log into EVERY Account to check for Sales,Payments,,ect,ect,as opposed to having all the stealth accounts E-Mails fowarded to 1 Mail E-mail account,,,,It could catch you napping,,,not shipping on time,,responding to buyer questions, ect, ect

I had this last year for a while - very very annoying.

I started missing orders as soon as they arrived meaning I didn't get them sent within 24 hrs.

I never found a solution to getting the emails! I searched and found there are/were lots of people who have this problem at times.

My solution was to log in to PP and d/l the invoice/transactions spreadsheet thingies. You can set it so it only give you the bare minimum of info, just the stuff you really want like item, address, name etc. Also if you choose just to d/l new transactions since your last d/l then you don't get any mix ups.

Not an ideal solution, but it worked.

Speaking to PP was, unsurprisingly, no help at all. The automaton offered no insightful info - just canned responses.

New accounts that I have right now though are fine...

thats where inkfrog or auctiva are a huge help. having multiple accounts all in one place is nice. i just log on every morning and click on each account to see what has been sold/paid for and ready to ship. another click and all the labels are done. if someone hasnt paid yet, another click sends a reminder. i have all my ebays set to 4 day NPB, so i rarely if ever need to log into ebay at all anymore

All in one place!? That sounds amazing!

How risky do you think it is though? Do you never get names mixed up, I mean your names.

Can you even reply to or send messages in inkfrog?

Everybody ships late and then they apply new spring seller shipping time rules and a lot of people are screwed...lol Touche ebay touche...
