Moneypak asks for SSN
 

HELP! I just bought a money pak so i could make a payment and GreenDot says i need a SSN is there any way around this? Or is it safe to get a refund from them it says you can get a refund if you fill out a form or do they give that info to paypal? one of the options on the refund form is refused paypal information so is it safe to get a refund with out paypal finding out my real info? :attention:

Greendot doesn't share your ssn with paypal atleast not yet so you should be safe

This nonsense has been posted 3-4 times this weekend. Pleas stop and read/search the forum. Previous topics are still on the 1st and 2nd page of new posts here yet people keep whining like children.

Greendot dosent need the ssn just for a money pack. paypal is the ones who want a ssn in order to let u add funds useing the money pack.

if u dont want to give Pp ur ssn then buy any debit card that lets u load via money pack and load it to it then get your money back. alot of cards out there greendot, readydebit, bankfreedom, accountnow, netspend all have opitions to fund via moneypack

And all these require SSN. :yar:

yeah the cards dose im just saying if u dont want to waste the money pack u can get u one of them debitcards and get your money back.

I have bought many moneypaks and loaded to a prepaid card without ssn. I only give ssn to the prepaid card.

I am new to all this. Do you guys think its safe to give SSN to PayPal to use moneypak with PP? I don't know the risks and I am paranoid
