How I got my 13 year PP account limited....
 

Ive been on eBay for 13 years now.......I also had a website where I accepted donations for something against PP's AUP and that account got limited about a year ago....

Fast forward to a month ago, I went to go pay for something on Ebay using Bill me later for 6 months promo......Where for some damn reason when I went to check out on ebay and I clicked the bill me later promo, it sent me to a paypal page to register as a new user......the info was pre filled from ebay as my old address and the address that was linked to my other pp that got limited a year ago. I knew nothing about "stealth accounts" or anything like the info I know now, but all I remember is saying "watch, that cant be good" as i closed that window as fast as I could. Well, two days later I get that limited email on my good eBay pp account. I called them and asked what happened as they could clearly see I was a legit ebay memeber....they said I was linked.....I told them I had no idea who that other person was(different name) blah blah blah, and the lady said she would send a request to review my "ebay" pp. Well she sent in a request for the pp account that was linked to my website which I dont care about. That was denied anyway.

Anyway I can get this back? All the info was legit, my real name address. Never ever had a charge back and only had one dispute which was last year. eBay says I did 20k sales in the last year so Paypal is missing out. Sometimes I wonder why PP is so flanky as they are losing out on so much money.

I opened another paypal account and am using eBay that way but I really want my old account back.

You might need the book to go from here. Better now than latter when things get worse.

From what I have experienced and read, linking a good standing pp to a suspended one is a done deal. That account is toast, I remember when I accidentally did it, reps didn't give a ****. If you depend on eb and pp as a main source of income I suggest getting the stealth book and starting fresh now.

Sorry, I cannot see you getting it back but it is worth a try.

Start working on new accounts just in case.
