How to remove "Paypal account required" on the listing

Does anyone know how to remove "Paypal account required" which is located under the asking price on the listing. I don't want to limit my customer base to only those who have Paypal account.

Could be wrong, but i think U have selected that filter, during your listing..not knowing how you list, can't say how to switch it off..

HateEbay 05-06-2008 06:40 PM

I checked my listing steps but didn't see any filter like that. It is weird. Can anyone help?

HI: Its in Ebay Preferences, also---under sellling preferences..
On your listing--click the blue more box, above the pyt area--brings a drop down box,,remove the check mark for pp required..BUT--preferences in selling manager, will over ride it..

I looked at "selling preferences" in my account and looked at "Payment From Buyers" and "Buyer Requirements" but didn't see "Paypal account required option" in order to remove the checkmark.

On my listing creating page, which one is the blue more box and under which part? Please show me in more detail.

How can I revise my listing?

Been an age since I used this. Find Auctiva much better.

mantisinc 05-07-2008 02:08 AM

It means you have to accept paypal, there is no way around it.

HateEbay 05-07-2008 05:22 PM

I just used Auctiva instead. Thank you guys for help

I'm not sure if this was resolved but maybe it's that box on the listing page that says "block users who might make transactions more expensive or difficult?"

Ebay's default for that is to check it, and I always uncheck it, and I don't get the "paypal account required" on my ads that I create on ebay's sell your item form.
