Paypal transfer from german to polish account

Hi there,
i found this forum through google-search, and i think it's the right place for my question. It has nothing to do with an eBay suspension, but with PayPal.

First of all, i have to say that i live in germany, and that my daughter lives in poland. I want to help her out with money monthly, so i want to combine that with my way of incoming. I'm a seller on eBay, and most of the payments are made via PayPal, so i want to send her the money also through PayPal. I have to add, that both of our accounts are verified with a VCC.

Now here is my question: What is the best way to send her the money without PayPal holding it? Should i just send it as a gift, or should she send me an invoice via email that i have to pay via PayPal, so she gets the money on her account? The sum i'm speaking about is 800 Euro, i want to transfer them from my german PayPal account to her polish PayPal account. I hope some of you can answer my question. :)

Best regards, Unkreativ

Isn't that use Iban wire transfer would be cheaper than the paypal fees? Any way I would suggest you to send her the money by service payment. That's what I did every month without any problem.

Any payment can be held by paypal.

ebay payments get 21 day holds.

The type of payment you talk about may get the funds 'held' for paypal to check.

Despite what people say paypal has started to check ALL types of paymet. Pay attention to that fact.

You could consider speaking to paypal germany about the transfer. Ask their advice aout doing this monthly. Get your daughter to do the same for paypal poland. Not definite it would work but you can try.

Did you consider bank transfer or are the fees too high?:typing:

IBAN would also be an option. I never got any information about the fees, but maybe they are lower. Can i also withdraw the money straight to her polish bank account (via IBAN) from my german PayPal, or should it be done with a polish PayPal?

Thanks for your fast replies, your a big help. :)

When you're sending the money, don't send it as a gift - it's a pretty big red flag. I've noticed that PayPal does not like to see money sent as gifts. Either send it as living expense or a service payment.
