Do you add tracking numbers to PP & Ebay?
 

For U.S. stealth Accounts...

I would print my own label outside of these sites and have tracking info. (Click N Ship or UPS or Stamps for example)

Can I add this tracking info to Ebay and Paypal safely without getting linked/limited/suspended?

I am asking because if someone files a claim, and ebay or paypal use the tracking info and discover the origin of the item is different from registered address.

Hope that makes sense.

I know folx who do this without problems. Origin does not necessarily SHOW address of origin just city state.

I think if you add it to PayPal then it adds it to ebay for you? Otherwise printing from ebay or paypal is best...

If you print it will auto fill to both eb and pp.

If you pay for it at the PO you will need to go in and add it because I get messages that I have not adding the tracking number within the allotted time.

For small seller like me, you can grab the tracking slips from the Post Office and when you sell an item, upload tracking number right away. Then ship it and walla.

You can also order the slips through USPS and have them mailed right to your door.

I have been running stealth accounts for years. I just print the labels of eBay or paypal then just cross out the return address and put my PO Box or UPS store addy. If anyone bitches say your items are drop shipped. You always want to add tracking. eBay and Paypal both like it as well as buyers. It make you seem like a "credible" seller.

I have to add to this thread for this reason

I recently sold something which took around 8 days longer to delivery than expected
The seller was never at home basically

And because I uploaded the tracking info, I did not recieved a single email from the bloke

I also recieved perfect feedback since they attempted delivery on the day I quoted in the delivery time

Its worth the effort!

Bit different for Canada Post - might need to manually change things on the form once printed.
