Weird balance question

Hello people. Just a quick question that you may be able to help me with. I have been "selling" items lately just for feedback... The cash on collection type, when no one turns up but the buyer knows the score and we give feedback. I never ask for money when the items (pencils etc) sell but 3 buyers have happened to pay me (1p,1p and 16p)

My question lies with my balance. Its 0... Apparently it has all gone on fees. When I was paid the two 1ps I thought maybe they would have took a 1p cut and thought nothing of it but for 16?

Can anyone explain this? Thanks

You really are playing a dangerous game aren't you?

Of course you will be fine manipulating feedback like this - Ebay are total idiots - so are Paypal - everyone knows that

They charge a percentage plus a fixed fee for receiving each payment. The percentage is 3.4% and the fixed fee is £0.20.

Anything under £0.21 will just get swallowed up in fees!

Thank you meVebay. GrannyT. I know the score with eBay and the feedback thing. There is nothing wrong with selling 2 or 3 a week via an auction. If I was selling 10 1p auction items there would be serious trouble.

I was just testing the water with these auctions as I want to get money into my account and if it goes down, well its only a few pennies

Why would anyone go to all the trouble of creating perfectly useable accounts and then put them at risk with such stupidity. Unbeleivable:confused:

All in the experiment.
