Will It Get Shut Down?
 

Hey, Ok i have read in a thread that if your account was linked to a suspended account it will be shut down in a matter of time, is this true? because im planning on using my paypal account to recieve payments and that account has been linked to my ebay account which was suspended, should i have anything to worry about?

My feelings are that it is dangerous to use a paypal account that has any association with a suspended ebay account. I work on the premise ebay links to paypal.
Therefore a damaged ebay account means damaged paypal account. I therefore make sure
to never ever use the paypal account with any association with ebay. The paypal account
is fine to operate as a stand alone account. Forget using it with ebay.

i have no plans on using it with an ebay account.

i dont see why it would be a problem when accepting payments for your website.
But if your going to use it for another ebay acc, id expect the whole ship to come down
in a matter of time.

Like jscan says, you can still use the Paypal account but not with another eBay account. It's safe to use with anything else though.

I still use my first Paypal account, that I've used with probably 20-40 eBay accounts (now suspended) without an issue.
