opened 3 accounts at once, through PNC bank!!
 

Just went to open a new account today at PNC bank, they have something called the virtual wallet.
2 checking, and 1 savings account all at the same time, no minimum balance and free checking.
just wanted to let you know, the info may be usefull to someone.

Yes, they are the same.

I could of swore someone said PNC was no good. I wish i knew this before. I always drive by them flicking them off thinking they are no good!

Has anyone tried PNC bank? Will I be able to deposit from paypal with a different name?

Only bank I ever had a problem with and name not matching up by the slightest and also low amounts being transferred in with the exact same thing, virtual wallets. I think I just had bad luck on this. I personally like pnc so it was alittle upsetting

There is only 1 pnc bank in my area but many atms at gas stations. Not sure if that helps.

Thanks crafty1 and accutinting. Not sure how I missed that. The virtual wallet is very nice for everyday banking. Not stealth though I guess. Just signed up online with Bank of America for my stealth acct.

Hmmm so is it virtual wallet that causes this problem or overall PNC.... b/c Sandy just said it works fine for her.

I just got a deposit to go thru to my checking at PNC with mismatched name. I have the virtual wallet. I noticed on the deposit is says "ACH DEP PAYPAL PAYPALSD11" The name wasn't included. On my back of america acct it included the name. "PAYPAL DES:TRANSFER ID:5MNJ2622J6QV8 INDN:MY NAME CO ID:PAYPALSD11 PPD"

I just went to my local branch The virtual wallet is just bacicaly online and mobile account access. YOu can also go into bank and drive thru but you use atm to withdraw, I don't think that makes the difference. There is a thread that says that pnc works. Accounts are only free though if you are a "student" otherwise minimum balance is $500.00 to open is 25. but to mailtain its 500

The Virtual Wallet was free, but I think there is a minimum balance of $25 required in each (not sure). The not going inside the branch is fine by me since it is only used for stealth. I like to get 1 debit card and swap money on my phone between accounts, leaving a lil in 2 of the accounts and the bulk in the account with a debit card attached.

PNC is a good bank for stealth. :thumb:

Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but is PNC still working? I saw another post a few weeks back and someone mentioned that PNC is not on the black list and still working. However, I cannot add my pnc accs to my paypal... the same error as cap360.

That is 2 savings accounts not 2 checking, keep in mind you can only transfer out of your savings 6 times a month. Not a big deal but if you are starting out you may want to keep that in mind.

Do they accept missmatched name deposits? Are you able to open account online without going into a branch? If yes what's the minimum deposit?

PNC works good for me. No problems. I only deposit once a week and withdraw once a month...

If they ask why mismatched names I just say My kids Child Support from deadbeat dad and that usually turns conversation in a whole new direction.
