Paypal has to be completly verifed now to sell on Ebay?
 

I went to list an item on a maybe 2 month old account, which ive already listed things on, and got a message saying my paypal had to be fully verfiied to be able to sell on ebay. I have a vcc verified on pp, but not a bank account yet, i usually add that later on.
Has anyone else got this message? Or do you just add a bank account right away? thanks!! :)

I always add a VBA or a Real one right away. Never received that message before.

I always aim to get the pp VERIFIED before selling. It's just better for security issue. That being said, while folx have sold with unverified pp (myself included), since eb wants verified pp, best to follow the mandatory steps.

I believe the bank account is what verifies the paypal to begin with. Not the cc alone.

do i have to verify paypal with phone verification to sell on ebay or just vba will do?

hola all, I ask a similar question as Iwuvcurrency....

I start with a stealth unverif. EB and PP acc. Both are linked with IP and user info.
At step 5 in, EB seller acc. Setup. > EB asks for payment. The unverif. Pp account is currently wthout funds. So, after linking the accounts PP asks for either a CC. Or bnk acc? Why? Will an unverif acc. prevent EB from accepting to pp account?

Yeah, and I'm still working on getting one of those....

I have done both ways.

Seems many are reporting in the last month they got the MC code when they listed their first item without fully verifying.

Things change all the time.

As a matter of interest what did you attempt to list?

Sometimes it's the issue of what is being listed risk factor wise, :spy:

Just listed 7 items that all started at $1.00 and the total was up to $996.00 with less than 2 hours remaining and was getting ready to list 3 more before I hit $1000 limit and got the same message to verify my Paypal...
