Entered my real address in a website's checkout and now it appears in Paypal
 

I wanted to buy something from a website. And because it was just a PDF file item, they need only my email address to send it to me. But their checkout needs me to enter my name and address too. And I thought, that because I will enter the data in their website, there will be no problem and I entered my real data. But when I was redirected to the Paypal website, my real name and address have appeared in Paypal too! So now when I go to my account info, I have 2 "shipping address" options and the second one is with my real name and address. The home address in the account has not been changed, but that real address is still sitting there as a shipping option and I can't remove it.

Am I screwed? There is no option to remove the adresses, that you have pointed as a shipping address in the past and I can't remove it from there....

I made that mistake and a few hours later it was limited!

Paypal stealth selling only ive learnt that

PA YP AL LOGS EVERYTHING - once you get limited in pp, all future use of that info is not good for any pp transaction - you are wise to go stealth always...

Well, 24 hours and still nothing. But I must point, that my original paypal account is still in use and I use it every day. My ebay account was the one, that was suspended a year ago... Now I have 4 stealth ebay accounts. The problem is, that I can't delete that stupid address and it will stay there forever. So maybe I might be OK for now, but I will never know when they may see it and limit my Paypal account...

yes, this will get you limited. took me 3 days. I had no idea about limits....but one day on ebay I was filling out a fourm, a paypal page popped up with my old address that had a paypal that got limited(accecpting payments from a porn site haha).

It was a page to signup with paypal and it had that old address, I clicked the hell out of there super fast thinking not wanting my ebay account closed too. I had no idea about paypal and stealth, just didnt want my ebay account banned. 3 days later I had my legit paypal account limited saying it was linked to my old account. Different complete addresses etc. Started googleing and learned about "steath" and this site :focus:
