marking items as processed on paypal, any difference in hold time
 

There is an option on paypal to mrk as processed and it says something such as paypal will calculate estimated delivery time and release funds 7 days after that...how exactly does this work? I ship internationally 90 percent of the time so most of the time I have to wait the full 21 days for release of payment to be made...thinking this process thing may do it...any input....thanks

Why do you want to risk botching up your operation? If you are patiently waiting 21 days and everything is working well...I would not risk messing around.

Well cause there is always the chance that paypal will limit me before the 21 days are up and some of the items are sell are rather $, so i would rather have access quicker, so wanted to see what this was about, never noticed this process option before

this is what it says...
You mark the item as processed and we know that the buyer has received it and is happy with the item. We'll release the payment within 7 days

what do they mean by that...so confusing

know that the buyer has recieved it ? how ? tracking or feedback

exactly...they are not clear at all, I have tested it out already so i will let you know, hopefully soon..if there is any difference in time

the answer is no

marking processed/despatched/sent does not get your funds quicker

if it was that easy to get around the 21 days then it would be pointless having the holds to start with IMO

add tracking, ship quickly, be a good seller and holds will fall of eventually by themselves

but i ship international and they don't get it for 21 days at least:(

its a pain in the ass to be sure

in your case you could be waiting for payment for 30 days or more :tears:

but its only really important when cash is low

or stock is none existent

we just have to roll with it until the holds relax
