PayPal seeing real information when paying for eB purchase
 

Will PP see my real name/address/info when I purchase items on eB and pay using PP? What is the best way to pay for eB purchases? I've searched the forum for an answer to these questions but didn't find an answer.

That depends on what info you have set on your accounts. Not sure where your going with this one. I'm confused.

Are you using funds from your paypal balance or transferred from your funding source? :pop2:

If you are paying using your PP and you have enough funds then they will only see the details on PP.

If you don't have enough funds in your PP and you use PP as payment then they will take the outstanding balance from your bank account and they will then see your real infor.

Best is to make sure you have enough funds in your PP account and have access to the address as well

Crafty answered my question ~ thanks! I have a new (less than 2 weeks old) stealth account and I was going to buy a few items but was concerned about making a payment from my bank account and exposing my real info to eB/PP. I am going to wait several more weeks before I list an inexpensive household item. Can I pay for items via a Vanilla card rather than the bank account attached to my stealth account?

I have set up 4 stealth accounts and am working on 3+ more (waiting on bank accounts to be finalized). I will have access to the mail at only one of these accounts and that is the account I'll use for purchases. I just need to make sure the Vanilla card is good to go before making any purchases. This is all new to me and a little nerve racking.
