How much exactly does paypal put in your account when you try to verify bank account?

Depends. Its not 1 exact amount. If that was the case they everyone would be able to verify without actual account.

So you need to have that bank account if you want to verify.

Or just make an account in a country where you can verify by credit card.

They withdraw amount from that .

Every account gets a different amount.. never had more than .5 cents from them. Miserable lot:heh:

Its always under £1 and your case it will be $1.

PP don't want to be giving away money for free...............

2 deposits of sub 0.99...amounts will vary.

haha... yeah, i long for the day when i go to check/confirm the deposits and they've accidentally given me £260, not £0.26 :D

buy yeah in answer to your question same as what others have said- 2 x small deposits below 0.99.

How long can you wait after you have received the deposits, to enter them into PP?

I had two deposits.... 1 was of 27 cents and the other was like 69 cents. For the most part, I would say they just random numbers picked. I believe I may have waited 2-3 days because I recall calling my bank 2-3 times askng if there were deposuts made yet by PP. But after a couple of days they came.

Have patience...and give or take a day or two.

^^^ the moment you've received the deposits, you can enter them in pp: pp send the two small deposits into your bank acct, then the moment they've landed and you see what the amounts are, you access your pp and enter them in however soon you want to.

Ha! Well...it was meant for TheOne1, but I guess could be for you too. Sorry I wasn't too specific. It was how it all fell into place for me.
