Payment Under Review
 

Guys,

I made a purchase without using my Registered Paypal account. I brought it from eBay and it cost me 672 USD.

While trying to pay it with my registered account, I kept getting a message that the card is not verified. (Actually it was a verified card)

There was another option in that page that you can pay with out being a paypal user. I opted that, entered the card details and paid the amount.

My card was charged immediately and the seller could also see tha payment in his account. But he is shown a message

Wait to ship the item until we've completed Payment Review for this transaction.


I also got a call from paypal today morning asking about the amount transferred and the last 4 digits of my Card I used for transaction. It's been about 20 hours now, and the payment is not yet cleared for the seller.

Will it be cleared, and if it is not cleared, how long will it take for the refund ...

I never paid like this before. But i would imagine pp is just trying to be safe. They will probably double check that the payment legit. If all is, your payment will be accepted and everything will be ok. Just might take a little time.

If everything is ok then yes it should go through fine... I have had this before... Although it took more like 5-6 days.
