Linking bank account
 

Hey,

Does paypal ask for the name on the bank account? I don't want to put a bank account on there that does not match up with the name on the account and get banned. Also do they ask for SSN when you add a bank account?

They don't see your name on the bank account. But yes, they will ask for it I think. So if your name is Bob Bobby on PayPal, when you go to attach your bank account and add the account #, transit #, & name - put Bob Bobby. Even though your real name on the bank account might be John Smith, PayPal won't see this.

Okay, and what about credit cards? Do they see your name? And can you have multiple credit cards on an account?

Also if I add my bank account to my Paypal and the names do not match, will I get banned if I withdraw money from my Paypal straight into my bank? This is the main purpose of the bank account being added.

There are many, many banks that allow or don't care for mismatched names in the deposits, there are also many, many threads on which banks allow this, I highly suggest in using the search function provided for free or you can purchase the Ebay stealth Book.

..No, you won't get banned because it doesn't matter if the names don't match. PayPal can't see your name on the bank account. And almost every bank won't care if yours doesn't match. Read the stealth guide and you'll get more info on the banks that do & don't.

When you start talking about Credit Card matching you need to go the gift card route. I also would suggest getting the Stealth Guide for whatever they charge now $40-50 I haven't looked you will have a much better understanding of how ebay and paypal work and the best way to get back on and sell.
