hi my paypal got limited so im trying to pay on ebay without paypal account. but whenever i enter a credit card i would get this "The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number." The card are not linked with paypal what soever. i would want to know if anyone has experienced this?

Try calling your credit card provider, and for a weird reason it may need to be cleared by the bank. I dont think that is the case, but that is the first thing that comes to mind. If you are using one of the grocery store/walmart prepaid cards that could be another issue.

its an american express business card, but the billing information might match one of limited accounts. can that be the problem?

You DO NOT want to provide the same billing address to a linked account. You will want to buy a VCC (temporary credit card) on here from a verified seller.

paypal will only allow "guest" checkout a few times before requiring a full-fledged paypal account. Then you must verifiy CC with VBA.

Maybe you reached your limit on your credit card or somewhat that's why your bank declined it?

I had that a couple of times on UK acts with VCC's.

Strangely I found they worked if I persisted and tried again and again...

This is about 10 months ago though...
