BlackHatJr | 09-12-2012 02:11 PM | Paypal Chargeback ? -I don't understand- If you request money from a buyer and send the money request as "service" and Not item, what happens if buyer opens a dispute on paypal and escalates it to claim but 2 days later closes it.
Can they then chargeback through the credit card company? Will they be found in favor even though the payment was paid for as a service? After all they have already closed the dispute in paypal and paypal is not letting them re-open a dispute because in paypals eyes the issue is solved.
How does someone even know if they paid with a CC? Won't they be able to proceed with a chargeback immidiatly? Will you be notified through paypal they are trying to reverse the payment back to the CC if so the moment they dispute the payment with their CC?
I would appreciate if someone can explain the process to me. Thank you. |
