Paypal information from a restricted account
 

My ebay account was restricted indefinitely, but my paypal account is still ok. I made a new Ebay account using a family member's name, address etc., and changed my IP address.

I also created another Paypal account using their information just to be safe. I want to add my bank account so that I can transfer the money from my Paypal account. I have a bank account that has never been used for Ebay, but it does have my name and address on it.

Will Ebay be able to link this Paypal account to my previous Ebay account since the bank info will have my name and address on it? Also, can I use my SS# on the Paypal account to get verified? Thanks in advance!

Paypal will not allow you to create that account because your bank account is linked to another account. You can't remove that account. You should go and get a prepaid debit card and activate the card. You will be provided a routing and account number that you may choose to use when setting up your new Paypal account.

Did you change the IP before creating the Ebay account in your family members name?

Did you obtain permission from the family member?

What are you going to do when or if that account gets banned?

You want to add a bank account to the banned Paypal or your relatives Paypal account?

If you are trying or want to add a bank account to your relatives Paypal...you need to make sure the bank account you are using will allow mismatch name deposits.

You can't use your SS# on your relatives Paypal account, there are other methods to verify your relatives Paypal Account, Again you need to search the forum
for these answers.

The pp that is ok can be used for other things but NOT for eb.

djchitown- The bank account that I want to use is at a different bank, and has never been used for Ebay or Paypal. I might look into the prepaid debit card.

mm78- I did change the IP address before starting the new account and I did get permission from my family member. I have searched through these forums for hours but still could not find answers to a couple questions. I read that Paypal cannot see the name on the bank account but what about the address? Do you think this will be a red flag? Also, what other methods are there to get verified without a SS#?

Once - possibly not but repeatedly, could be problem.

You run the danger of linking accounts.

You are asking about verifying with out an SSN but you need to tell us what your plans are.

Why are family involved & why are you not being independent? It is possible to create accounts without family.

I created the account with family member's info before I found these threads. After reading, I realize it's not the greatest idea to use a family member's info so I would probably go Stealth soon. Just trying to find the best way to get my money out of Paypal. I added my bank account, just waiting or it to be confirmed so we'll see what happens!
