Works for me when trying to build up stealth accounts and to verify. I wouldn't try to withdraw funds while it's still listed under the account though, that will result in an automatic banhammer..

It has been confirmed many times that Etrade gets a ebay account flagged for the "banhammer". One ebay rep even told a member on here, who posted that info, that etrade "sucks" to confirm anything.

I only use Etrade to buy stocks, ETFs, or put money into my mutual fund, mostly just mutual fund.

Buying stuff generally doesnt get you banned. It's when you start to sell, the fun begins.

That said, the advice is spot on. Etrade is a no-no for paypal.

Today I opened first stealth CHECKING etrade account and connected it to paypal, since paypal doesn't give instant verification to Etrade they sent me few cents to verify, will I see these money on that account to verify paypal

etr*de is no good...All it does is put a flag on ur pp account. Some get bannhammered, some dont.

I will open many accounts, so I am perfectly ok with banning some, the question is what is the ratio

rsot 10-31-2012 10:30 AM

No set ratio - if you are up for experimenting, report back with your results so we can learn. Personally, seems like a waste of time.

what about using real people infos for creating VBAs since you will not use them to withdraw money, should it get you in trouble
