Pm a moderator (Purple name) and they should be able to point you in the right direction.:peace:

you should be fine until they limit your account. I am assuming this is due to the 200/20k limit?

makaveliagain 10-28-2012 03:08 AM

From my experience you just ignore it until it becomes a real problem. Most I have heard say stop selling completely at like 18k maybe 19k and shut it down for the year.

I have also heard not to rack up like 10-15k in the first half of the year otherwise they are going to limit you completely because of projected sales.

My advice we don't know exactly what paypal does but if you spread out your sales and stop completely at the 18k range, my opinion is not to go a $1 over 19k and you should be in the clear for the rest of the year.

He did say "in my experience". You constantly patronise and insult people on this forum and really should stop. Doing that doesn't make your points any more valid...

Vetragor 10-31-2012 08:40 AM

give them EIN and share your experience with us

I just tell people the truth. People come on here with problems, and then other post junk responses, and it leads them down the wrong road.

Does not seem that krimson knows about EIN - prob best to read around and pm moderators sure, if it will help.

yotano211 10-31-2012 01:39 PM

The mods can't do anything in this case. The OP says paypal wants EIN or SSN, given that info to paypal is ID theft.

@krimson, you either have to slow down, let the account cool until next year or make another paypal account and continue from there. Use all different info.

Can you elaborate on how it's ID theft? I just apply for a EIN using my real name ssn but stealth address (I have access to this address, UPS store address). I apply just in case they ask for it down the line.

Thread closed until I can post correct info.
