Default Buyer Dispute over non delivery of item sent 1 month ago

Okay i have a buyer who sent $3000.00 USD from Malaysia on September 25, 2012, it is now November 11th and he is saying it never arrived but i sent it, i got tracking but the tracking says it left new york on October 23, 2012 and it has not been updated yet.

The problem is, i did not require a signature, which this is required in Sellers Protection to be safe, so i think now he is going to get the package plus the money now.

What should i do, i just contacted the buyer after a month of not contacting him, because i thought everything was fine, apparently not.

So needing some advice please.

Will PayPal rule him as the victim and he will get the 3k? please need help!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Not to kick you when you're down, but always get that $2 signature option on a sale of this magnitude, hell even $20-30 if possible.

Ebay always rules in favor of the buyer so your best bet would be to try and resolve this without Paypal/ebay.

I agree with Css1, unless you can resolve this with the buyer you will lose both the goods and your money. For a $3000.00 sale you should really use an iron clad shipping method.

He will probably win the dispute.
You really need to get sig conformation on anything over 100 bucks

Also: If he is a pro-scamming buyer, he probably will know that he could get away with both.

Default Yeah!

How long ago did you ship the item? It does take a while for shipment to go overseas. You need to contact the post office or which ever delivery company you used. Hopefully you paid for insurance. Your pretty much screwed my friend and will be forced to pay it back.

Not all methods are just $2 extra for signature. (Maybe in the US it is)

With Canada Post, they only include signature option with their most expensive method (XPresspost) which is often $10-30 more than the next cheapest (Expedited).
