Since when are transactions outside ebay eligible for seller protection?

I noticed all of my transactions from the start of November are eligible for seller protection, and they are all outside of ebay.

Anyone else noticed this miracle happen to him?

Is paypal actually doing something right?

Pretty new. I noticed it myself a few weeks ago on a stealth account. Was very happily surprised.

It would seem that the buyer fraud rate is making paypal lose too much revenue and causing sellers to leave/fight back.

Its a welcome change.

it is pretty ridiculous that there was no protection on transactions outside ebay, they are just asking for the seller to get screwed. are you sure the detail page said eligible and not partially eligible?

There has been limited sellers' protection for off ebay transactions for some time.

yes that is what i thought, i have gotten 'partially eligible' but that does not protect you against unauthorized transactions which to me is basically no protection
