I did something pretty stupid. Help
 

When I added my checking account number with Key Bank I accidentally put the chase routing number and not the one for Key Bank. Now, will some random person be getting all of my money? Will it still get to my checking account? Or will it get sent back to my PayPal, and how many days do you think it will take to go back?

If someone from Chase that does have a bank account number like that, if they do, will get a deposit in their bank account. If nobody has a bank account with that number the deposit will just be returned back to your paypal account. I have done it once and it took about 1 week to get funds back.

I might actually call Paypal on this to see if they can stop the transfer and input the correct bank info.

It depends on the bank but usually around 7/10 days to get returned.

Why are you asking us for help? Common sense should have told you to contact paypal IMMEDIATELY to stop any transfers going to the bank account

They are asking for help because they feel they they need help.

People see things differently, common sense sometimes just goes out of the window when you have made a mistake.

It takes about a day or sometimes two for the transfer to complete from paypals end. Now you have about 24-36 hours to cancel the transaction and have your money back in your Paypal account. Processing time varies from time to time. Good Luck!
