The first option to verify your bank account in pp is Confirm instantly with your phone.

What happens if you go this route?

You need to verify:

Bank Account
Credit Card
Phone number

then you have a strong verified PayPal

I understand that. My question wasn't clear. When u get to the screen in pp to verify your bank account, you can select the option to have them make a small deposit and verify 2-3 days later or you can do an instant phone verification.

My question is, what happens when you do the instant phone verification? Do they call you? How do they verify a bank acct instantly over the phone?

The instantly verify SOME bank accounts online because of the use of bank username and bank pw that is set up. Not all banks support this.

hes refering to a new option to verify by paypal calling you ive never used this feature before

I tried the Phone verify and it didn't work for me but who knows, it might work for someone else.

anyone tried this recently? using the verify your bank instant by phone option? it pops up sometimes n wondering if anyone tried it and how it works exactly.....

Tried once, didn't work.

Fail feature imo.

2 deposits is the way to go. All this other stuff is just pure impatience and likely going to get you linked.
