Educated guess....what will happen?
My apologies for the long absence, I will try to catch up on my contributions.
I hope everyone is healthy and successful. Here it is.....
I have a Paypal account where I had been just withdrawing the maximum 500 all year long. I never added a card to up the limit. 500 each month.
July rolls along, and I add a debit card card to lift my withdrawals. A couple of days later, the good ole "give us your tax stuff" shows up. Even though I wasn't even in the ballpark of the IRS magic number.
So what I did, was remove the debit card so I couldn't go over the magic amount. I went back to only being able to withdraw 500, and I sent them an email saying what I had done, and why. And that I had no intentions on giving them my personal info.
So for the rest of the year, August onwards, I have been withdrawing 500 a month without being limited. I still get the reminder, but they have let me withdraw without freezing me for almost 6 months.
At the end of the year, I still will not be anywhere near the magic number, but do you think they will freeze me on Jan. 1st?
