Paypal: the truth about limitations without reasons

Hello,

Is really true that paypal sometimes could limit your account for no reasons, or for very stupid reasons did to scam your money or hold it for a while?
I read story on internet and seen videos on youtube.
I really don't know if paypal sometimes limit your account for no reasons.
I'm often a bit worried about the money i have on my non-stealth account.
I'm worried that paypal ask really strange documents and then never unlimit my account.

Could it be true?
Or there are always TRUE reasons to have a limitation?
However there are always easy ways to unlimit a non stealth account right?

Theres always a reason (in paypals eyes). Account linking etc, to many sales etc...

They never will tell you the reason you have actually been banned..

What may seem as no reason to you is actually a RISKY reason to pp. Yes, some account ...well many...go down for annoying reasons but pp is always judging based on risk.

Be prepared to deal with the risk - analyze your business, read around the forums, have documents ready

There is always a reason for a limitation by paypal.

Issue is the account holder never being able to understand this.

paypal makes this worse by being evasive and giving little info to explain its actions.

If an account is limited, majority of times counter-actions may be taken to get limitation removed.

Strictly a case by case basis. Should always be treated as such.

To lift limitation which document paypal can ask?
For now i know these:

- identity document
- address certification
- suppliers information

I'm talking about non us accounts.

Posted in other thread Loque - wont repost the same info - check other thread. Kind of tough to see you having the same discussion going on in different spots on our forum.

Keep it simple :)

Then if you do know, why are you asking in two different threads?

ebay & paypal accounts of any type must conform to what requirements are place on them.

End of story.
