Getting a Paypal Debit card = link?

Will getting a Paypal debit card link my perm. banned Paypal to my new one? I had my SSN on my perm banned Paypal and a SSN is required to use a Paypal debit card.

Will it link? that is the question.

What if I use a Tax ID instead?

Possibly may work. I would not say with any great amount of hope.

November 2011 was the last time this method worked for me. ( in the USA )

Does your paypal account meet all the other requirements?

:spy:

Jwizard 01-05-2013 08:44 PM

It's a verified business account. So yes I believe it meets the requirements.

GreenBean 01-05-2013 08:50 PM

Paypal may still decline or ask outright for an SSN of the account holder.

Account also has to be at least 90 days old and have had not a thing 'bad' in the preceding 60 days of the application.

Even a refund to make a buyer happy might be a bad mark.

jwizard - you might have to take the plunge in this one and experiment - see what works and report back. You seem to be on the forefront of this -pp debit cards are quite difficult to obtain these days without submitting all your real info so not really a topic discussed on this stealth forum.

BigCJ 01-06-2013 12:19 PM

OP. I do not see this working for the long or short haul.

The prepaid debit cards needs the SSN. If you have had your SSN attached to pp before, they will cross reference almost instantly. Even with EIN, they are going to see your real name (where the funds are coming from your paypal account, etc) and then see you have a stealth account.

This would not be a situation of 'the bank does not share info' as they would see themselves as the bank.

Don't support these crooks. There are plenty of other debit cards out there. :nono:

You need to spend more time reading.

Not meant to be rude but if your real info and account is banned you can no longer use ANY of your real info ever again.

LLC etc will the only way and it is not guaranteed to work either.

Artann 01-09-2013 12:16 PM

if your incorporated has no credit history PP will ask for your personal info, SSN etc.

I cant help thinking why you would even risk it ?
Whats the advantage ?
It saves you a step in the process of sending it to your bank.
Well how long does that take ?

NoneOther 01-09-2013 05:01 PM

Now with faster payment transfers in the UK it saves no time at all.

Why on earth anyone would want to leave their cash in their p/p account is beyond me!

Have people learned nothing, do they think it will stop their account from being limited?

Easy answer to that is it won't and I speak from experience.

rsot 01-09-2013 06:13 PM

While pp does like to see some cash in the account at all times, a lot really depends on how a person operates and things being sold. Key determinants among other criteria

NoneOther 01-09-2013 06:26 PM

I understand the importance of leaving SOME cash in a p/p account, what I'm getting at is leaving most of your cash in there and using a p/p card to access your funds.
