paypal withdraw phone verification!
 

I changed my bank and confirmed. After that when I try to withdraw $$, paypal prompt a phone verification. I used stealth info, is there any way to get around it? HELP PLEASE!

They probably think somebody hijacked your acct. As long as you have all the stealth info you should be able to answer the questions

Is it a computer(just like ebay) answering or a real person? What is the process like?

I have $500ish in my pp account. Previously I was trying to withdraw $400 but failed(phone verification), then I changed my ip and withdraw $150 successfully(so far).

Its great to hear. After you changed your IP did you try to withdraw the first amount you tried (400$)? Was it a problem with the ip you were using or the amount you tried to withdraw?

Both ips used are local ips and are consistent with the location i registered with.

get a prepaid SIM card, make the phone verification it will be automated not a real person, they will ask for phone verification based on the amount you are trying to withdraw.

I met the same problem. Well, withdrawn less or equal than $250 will get around of it.

I faced up this so many times. Smaller amount always get through. However, better to verify it by phone.

Just wait within 24 hours. Then the verification will be removed. They do that because their may be lots if activity going in with your account or when you withdrawal the first time. You can always do the verification. Their Re 2 options phone & debit card / bank as well as your security questions. It's more easier to verfiy your bank / security questions obviously .

From what I've heard, the phone verification has been fixed. You can verify it with a Google Voice or something. It used to not work for some people at all, but last time I tried it worked.

Also, I would say wait a few days. Paypal has this hidden time limit on stuff in the account before you can take out more..

wow, i was also asked for the phone verifcation when i added new BA to withdraw.. couldnt withdraw until i did phone verification, it gave me 2 options : phone verific to original # setup to register to PP (landline, which i still have), or add new number......

***problem that can affect you: if you used a disposable phone to setup and register PP (many of you use tracphone etc) then the tel # is no longer available and you cannot phone verify anymore to the same number ..................
