Sharing bank and personal info across different companies is illegal in most cases. | That was true when Glass- Steagal was still the law in the US before Bubba Clinton rescinded it and allowed huge financial conglomerates to combine into one-stop banking/insurance/investment companies.
Even then Paypal can skirt around most any financial regulation they choose since technically they are not a bank. |
