Bank withdrawals taking longer than usual?
 

It used to take 24 hours for bank withdrawals to a Greendot card to say "completed", but now it's taking 48! What's up? Is it Paypal, or is it Greendot?

I've never gotten money in 24 hours. Usually 48-72 hours.

Not just green dot, another bank also. I get it done within 6 hours/same day or next day!

I dont think 48 vs 24 is anything to get worried about. Probably just some slight change in update process. Likely on pp end but I wouldnt sweat it

Didn't paypal had a bunch of glitches with the hack scandal recently? Probably thats why they are doing some internal fixes and probably getting in the way with glitches.

Yea, it depends on what time of day you withdrawal. If it before the 5pm Pacific 8pm Eastern time cutoff it is usually 24 hour holding period then the next day they do the transfer. If you are after that period it takes an extra day then then the holding period before the transfer. It is all in the user agreement and I think there is even a link to the policy for US users when you withdrawal money.

I can send a withdraw from 4 different banks right now and one of my banks will show Monday afternoon and the other 3 will show after 6 am on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The bank you use matters also. Some are just slow as heck. For me Chase seems to be very slow in depositing my money.

Chase is always next day for me after paypal shows "completed". Sometimes it is the day after depending on what time I withdrew funds from paypal.

PNC is lighting fast for me.

BOA take 24 hours or so.

Chase for me is super slow.

Others usually 24-48 hours like clockwork.

Didn't know Greendot still worked for withdrawl with PP.

Hack scandal source info?

If you use GD now it and you go to pp it will send you back to GD and tell you pp requires ssn etc to use it with pp.
